In Conversazioni alla Fonte Regina a group of performers establish a sound relationship with the birds living in the Fonte Regina through the use of bird calls. These instruments, belonging to the practice of hunting, are here used as means of production of a sound environment structured as a conversation.
The "natural" sound environment is simulated rather than imitated.
The non-canonical use of birdcalls, combined with the production of feedback via megaphones and the use of smartphones for generations of sound bands between 10 and 15 KHz, gradually transfigures the sound environment of the park and then returns to the original natural environment.
Gradually the sound action fades away leaving the original acoustic environment to re-emerge.
